Tranquility

In our Attunement Classes in Kansas City, MO we use an edited/condensed version of Uranda’s (Lloyd Meeker) booklet entitled, “The Seven Steps to the Temple of Light”. These seven steps correlate with the seven endocrine glands and their related “spirits”. The second step to the temple of light is “ tranquility ”(adrenals…Spirit of the Single Eye) Second Step to the Temple of Light: Tranquility Tranquility relates to our mental nature. In it is the perfect peace of the divine one within. In tranquility is the everlasting attitude toward external events wherein one can say, “none of these things move me”. Tranquility is a supreme virtue…for therein is perfect freedom in the limitless eternal. In tranquility nothing of a destructive nature can abide. Our minds are necessary to our transformation. As an open window for our inner being, the mind is perfect. Throughout the experience of the chaos that is in

Light… Life… Attunement

Over the years of sharing Attunement I have increasingly noticed distinct patterns of association within the physical body and its function. This is partially due to the fact that seeing clients every week brings many opportunities to perceive these patterns. Uranda gave a talk entitled “Patterns of Association” in May, 1953, where he said the following:   “…Why do we give so much attention to creative principles and the creative processes? Because under the pattern of attunement in and with God we, in the outer sense, have the responsibility of creating or sharing the work of creation with respect to that which is to take form…we have a part to play… in the creative processes right here on earth and the interplay of the vibratory forces in the sense of the correct patterns of association, or wisdom, the sense of the fitness of things….”   There are patterns of

Sleep and Attunement

In the recent IAAP international teleconference call entitled “Mindful Attunement”, one person made a comment about sleep and sleep patterns. Their words really struck a cord with me because I work with clients–young and old, male and female, sick and not sick–who are having trouble getting a good night’s sleep. There are so many factors involved in this quintessential and delicate part of a person’s life (in theory one-third of our life is spent sleeping) that affects health, healing and balance–energetically, emotionally, mentally and physically. Have you ever spent a restless night, tossing and turning and not sleeping? How did the next day go for you? Long ago when I was a pilot in the Air Force I was required to go through prison-of-war training. In that very real experience, the “captors” used sleep deprivation and other approaches to “soften up” their prisoner (me). After a couple of days

Lyme’s Disease and Attunement

As I have written before there are trends in the type of diseases, difficulties, and illnesses in people who are seeking help in my natural healthcare and energy practice. Over the last year or so several people have come to the office who are working with Lyme’s disease. This is an infectious disease with a name derived from the cities Lyme and Old Lyme. It was discovered in Connecticut in the middle 70’s and is caused by spiral shaped bacteria called a spirochete (borreliosis) transmitted via the bite of a tick. It is in the same family of bacteria as syphilis and remains in the human body for the remainder of the person’s life, cyclically asserting itself according to the ability of the immune system to control it. Early symptoms can include fever, headache and fatigue. For most people a rash occurs at the site of the bite 3-30 days
