Attunement and the Vesica Piscis
How does Attunement work? If you share Attunement with more than a couple of people in a day, will you get tired, will you run out of energy? These and other questions are often asked of Donna or myself as we teach the Attunement Initiation workshops in the Kansas City area. I have written about Attunement Cosmology in a previous newsletter and would like to address something of how Attunement works in the paragraphs below, using sacred geometry to illustrate what I wish to convey. Sacred geometry is an area of beauty and grace introduced to me by my friend and colleague, Dr. Lenny Izzo. The ancients saw particular significance in the sacred because it involved consciousness and the profound awareness of mystery. Sacred geometry deals with the sacredness in shapes and numbers-an avenue that helps facilitate the growth and transformation of consciousness.
One way of describing something unique in the context of the larger whole is a circle. Such a description might be our solar sun in the midst of the larger galaxy or planet earth in the midst of a larger solar system. The circle is the parent of all shapes. Let us use a circle to represent an individual.
Here is a "well-rounded person", a unique, differentiated expression of eternal Being in human form. (Some of us may be more well-rounded than others but hopefully you get my point.) In the Attunement process, where we share one-on-one Attunement, there are two individuals involved. For the purposes of our discussion let us use an example of you and me. 
Often as we engage in the Attunement process, one person will assume the giving position and the other the receiving position, setting up a creative "field". If I use these words it does not mean that one position is more significant than the other; both are needed to let the Attunement process unfold. The individual in the giving position will begin by balancing the cervical life pattern. Every person in human form has a life pattern (similar to the uniqueness of the fingerprint) created by the presence of Spirit/Being as it is projected through the energy field (pneumaplasm) into human form. In Attunement this is simply called the cervical pattern. The hand position for balancing the cervical pattern is located where the skullcap sits on the atlas cervical vertebra, hence the phrase "cervical pattern". There are only a few places in the human form and energy field where the whole presence of the life pattern may be touched. Refer to the workbook, Attunement: Love Made Visible, chapter two, for a more detailed description of the cervical location and balancing the cervical pattern.
Being centered in a consciousness of Love and a spirit of thanksgiving, the Attunement process is initiated by the person giving the Attunement by releasing a current through the cervical hand position as it connects with the person receiving the Attunement. To me it is akin to priming a water pump. In the Midwest we used to have hand pumps for pumping water. To make them work and draw properly, you were required to prime the hand pump with water. The Attunement flow between the giver and receiver continues until there is an initial sense of balance or symmetry in the creative field established. When this initial balance occurs, something wonderful transpires as a portal is opened in the union of the two that allows for the energy of Spirit/Love to directly flow into the world of matter/form. The shape of this portal or opening is called the Vesica Piscis or Mandorla. It is an almond shaped doorway connecting two-dimensional worlds, the invisible and visible.
Many people recognize this sacred symbol world around. For instance, one example is the symbol of the fish (the Christ Consciousness) used in Christianity. The Vesica Piscis is the place of connection where two join as one. God and Humanity. Heaven and Earth. Mentor/Master and Student/Disciple. Man and Woman. As well, there are numerous examples of this shape in our own bodies -eyes, mouth, nostrils, the ear canals, to name a few-where we experience connection with the world beyond our body. In the Attunement experience this place of union is not only the portal/doorway through which the Creator may bring the blessings of Spirit into our world, but is also a specific means by which each person may directly know communion with God. As mentioned, the creation of this portal is the result of a creative field involving two people and was referred to as the science of Mazzaroth in the ancient past. "Creative field" technology was a high spiritual art and practice of worship. When initial balance and the Vesica Piscis are established, the Attunement Radiation begins to do its work at the level where we are. The fire falls from the Creator into the world bringing the experience of blessing, healing, life, harmony and a sense of peace. The next diagram depicts this Attunement process.
Out of this holy setting of union (Vesica Piscis) comes Love and Blessing into the world, the world of each person participating in the Attunement and the larger world beyond. Each so established "creative field" is unique, each field providing the richness of God's blessing, Spirit's blessing. It is important for each person to remain conscious of this opened portal. If the creative field or place of union is violated because the Attunement current and process are not honored or kept sacred, the flow will reduce or cease all together. The quality of this experience is dependent on the daily living expression of each one who is participating in the Attunement.
If one stays in Attunement, letting the current flow as diagramed, would one become energetically tired or drained? I know from experience that the answer is no. To the contrary, staying in the flow, staying in Attunement, the experience is one of ascension, a greater release of energy, and a deeper sense of peace.
